I would like to see a fan mix of Rapunzel and Aurora, please.
Do you mean separate mixes for each or them together?? Not gunna lie, I’m not sure I could pull that off, since they have like…no relation to each other :/ I think any songs I’ve got that would fit Rapunzel and Aurora respectively will show up in the Rapunzel x Flynn mix and my future Aurora x Philip mix!

Same with this one…? Rapunzel and Jim together?

This has to be some sort of trollbot, I’ve seen about 10 other blogs get this anon question…

IF SHE DOESN’T SCARE YOU….
Cruella requested by Anon! Unfortunately there aren’t many high-quality caps out there of this film….
Oh my goodness! I’m so flattered! And I don’t consider myself all that great, so I’m not sure how good my advice will be. I do have a difficult time thinking abstractly in a design context.
I tend to focus on color and balance a lot—whether that be intentionally creating an unbalanced image (where one part of the graphic is left with more negative space than the rest) or making sure the balance of the image is harmonious. There’s also a huuuge difference between working with images from animation and real-life images, which I find MUCH more difficult.
I also tend to try to keep my graphics relatively simple, because while I love blended images, they can so easily become sloppy-looking.
As far as TECHNICAL tricks with photoshop….I’d definitely get to know the following adjustments: curve, hue/saturation, and selective color. Also a simple trick for brightening up images is to duplicate the layer and set the top layer to “screen” blending mode. Then you can adjust the curves of that top layer until you like what you see. EDIT: Oh, and the PEN tool! Absolutely learn to love the pen tool. It will allow you to cut out complex shapes.
I also tend to use a radial gradient with black as the outer color and a beige at the center, and set that layer to “overlay” in order to darken the edges a little and subtly guide the eye to the part of the image that I want to be the focus.
So yeah…that’s about all I can think of that I consciously pay attention to while I’m working on my graphics. Choosing a color scheme or recognizing pleasing color combinations, and balance.
That was probably completely unhelpful haha but I hope it gives you some idea of my process…?
